JECK: Montreal – The euro fell more than a cent after comments from European Central bank policy maker Yves Mersch published Wednesday.
The governor of the Central Bank of Luxembourg told Bloomberg newswire the ECB may revise down its 2% real GDP growth rate for 2008. Mersch was quoted as saying actual growth would be close to, but below the 2% level.
